Stream Conditions - late June/July
Remember to check water temps this time of year. Once the water temps reach the upper 60's - 70's trout have a vey hard time recuperating after being caught. Warm water species like smallmouth bass and sunfish are a great way to kill some time until the seasons change back. Stop by the shop and grab some poppers and some hoppers and have fun with the local warm water fishes. Good places to go are the Brandywine creek, Chester and Darby creeks and the lower end of Ridley creek off Waterville Rd. Have a fun summer and go fishing!!!

Tricos are also starting to come off the spring creeks and on the Tully.  Call the shop for more details.  We have tricos down to size 32 if you need them! The key to successful trico fishing is getting out early and getting the fly in front of the fish. Fish can key in on spent spinners and will wait for them to come to close before eating them.
