We have offered fly fishing & fly tying instruction since 1975.  Our staff and instructors have vast experience and are experts in their craft.


Private Instruction

For those who desire more personal attention than is possible in the group class, we offer private instruction for 1 - 4 persons.  The subject matter and all aspects of instruction will be tailored to your specific requirements.

Private instruction is a useful alternative for those who are unable to attend our group classes due to scheduling issues.  It is also a better choice for students at the intermediate-level who may already be familiar with much of the introductory material covered in our schools.

$109 for one hour

Four People
$129 for one hour

Children under age 12 accompanied by a paying adult pay half the normal per person increment for both half-day & hourly instruction.

Fly Fishing Schools


Our one day schools are group classes for the beginner to early intermediate-level fly fisher.  Learn the basics in just one day!  Topics covered include:

*  Selection of fly tackle & equipment
*  Casting & line handling
*  Knot tying
*  Stream strategy & tactics

Classes conclude with a fishing session at one of our local streams.  Lunch is provided; lodging and fishing licences are not included.  Loaner rod and reel outfits, for use during school, are available upon request.  Class hours are approximately 9 am - 4 pm.

Fee:  $169 per person

Children's Fly Fishing Class

 

Our one-day children's class provides a brief introduction to fly fishing for children ages 10 - 14. 

 

We provide leaders, flies, a fly box, handouts, and snacks.  There is a limited supply of rod and reel outfits available at no charge for use by students who do not own a fly outfit.  These are available on a "first come first serve" basis.

Please note:  It is required that each student be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older for the entirety of the class.

Maximum enrollment of 10 students.

Fee:  $39 per child
